I have extensive experience in both public and corporate accounting. I worked in public accounting for four years, where I honed my skills in tax preparation, auditing, and consulting. Following this, I spent two years in corporate accounting at a Fortune 1000 company, where I focused on financial reporting, process improvement, and strategic planning. This diverse background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the accounting field and the ability to provide high-quality services to my clients.

- MS in Business Analytics, graduated 2021, with a Masters project created for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, developing a statistical risk classification model to help predict forest land conversion, a key factor in saving Washington’s salmon.

I am passionate about accounting process improvement and automation. I use my expertise to streamline my work and deliver high-quality results. My drive for continuous improvement keeps me on the lookout for new ways to enhance my skills and knowledge.
Unique Skills and Expertise
I hold certifications in management accounting and strategy and competitive analysis, giving me an edge in providing value-added consulting services. I am proficient in Excel, Power Query, R, and other data analysis languages/tools.
I formerly lectured at UW Tacoma, teaching quantitative analysis to business students. I enjoyed sharing my insights and experience with the next generation of business leaders. During my time as a student at UW Tacoma, I tutored students in a variety of subjects including business, accounting, math, economics, and programming.
Community Service
In my free time, I volunteer with Pierce County Explorer Search and Rescue, serving as a Field Leader who manages multiple search teams. I lead teams in search and rescue missions, help recover evidence, and evacuate injured individuals. These missions can occur at a moment’s notice anywhere in the State of Washington. In 2023 I received the “Searcher of the Year” award from Pierce County Explorer Search and Rescue. I also serve as the Treasurer and a board member for Washington Explorer Search and Rescue.
Military Service
I spent eight years in the Washington Army National Guard, working as a CH-47 crew chief and aviation powertrain mechanic. I apply the skills, experience, and values I learned in the military to my accounting work.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work and community service, I enjoy backpacking and tackling home improvement projects. I also love tinkering with home automation projects.
